Indio single-family home prices take a slight hit while condo values drop 14%
A new housing report shows single-family prices down to $595,000 in Indio, even as neighboring communities like La Quinta and Bermuda Dunes see market gains.

According to the latest Greater Palm Springs Realtors (GPSR) Desert Housing Report, the median price for an average-sized detached home in Indio fell 4% to $595,000 compared to the year before while attached home prices decreased 14% to $241,000.
The median price of an average-sized detached home in the Coachella Valley last month was $624,000, down less than 1% compared to last year. Attached home prices increased by about 1% to $425,000.
Detached home prices increased in five valley cities: Indian Wells, Coachella, Bermuda Dunes, La Quinta, and Rancho Mirage and fell in the rest of the valley. Attached home prices increased in just two valley cities, Bermuda Dunes and La Quinta.
Indio recorded 71 sales during the three-month period ending in September, a decrease from 2025 when the city recorded 78 sales. Valley-wide, sales are down about 34% below average.
The report measured the valley’s housing inventory divided by recent sales, and determined that the housing market is moving into a more balanced market, not favoring either buyers or sellers.
Indio had the third-highest number of homes on the market at the start of the month with 365, down from 415 homes last year. Valley-wide, inventory is down less than 1% year-over-year to 2,765 units.
